The Services are provided by LSA Management Services (Australia) Pty Ltd (24B Andrew Street, Mount Waverley VIC 3149, Australia).

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information we process in connection with the LockProof app, our websites (including lockproofapp.com), customer support channels, and any features that reference this Policy. For the purposes of applicable privacy laws, LSA Management Services (Australia) Pty Ltd is the data controller for personal information described in this Policy, unless a separate controller is identified for a specific processing activity.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account data: such as name, email address, username, or profile details you choose to provide.
  • Support communications: messages you send to us, including attachments and diagnostic details you voluntarily share.
  • Payment-related data: if you purchase a subscription or in-app item, our payment processors may collect billing details. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and app data: device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, and coarse diagnostics (for example, crash logs).
  • Usage data: in-app events such as feature usage, session length, and performance metrics, used to improve reliability and product design.
  • Identifiers: mobile advertising IDs or similar identifiers where permitted by platform policies and your device settings.

2.3 Information from others

We may receive information from app stores, analytics providers, fraud prevention vendors, or authentication partners, consistent with their terms and your settings.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • Personalize in-app experiences and surface relevant features;
  • Monitor security, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • Communicate with you about updates, support, and (where allowed) marketing;
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
  • Conduct analytics and research in aggregated or de-identified form.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where required, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: contract necessity, legitimate interests (balanced against your rights), consent, and legal obligation. You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior processing.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist with hosting, analytics, customer support, email delivery, payments, and security;
  • Professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality obligations;
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information as the term is commonly defined.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and may be extended where required for legitimate business purposes.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use device passcodes, OS updates, and strong account credentials.

8. Children’s privacy

LockProof is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.

10. International transfers

If you use the Services from outside the country where we operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Third-party links and integrations

The Services may link to third-party sites or integrate third-party SDKs. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
